MASSIVE Oilers Blackhawks Trade Coming? – DEVASTATING Korchinski Update… | Hawks News

The Chicago Blackhawks have reportedly looked into goaltender Jack Campbell and former top 10 pick, defenseman Phillip Broberg. The Blackhawks are willing to take on cap space to help other teams flexibility in exchange for picks or prospects. Adding to the prospect pool by using the picks or players in addition to players like Connor Bedard and Lukas Reichel would be huge for the Blackhawks. Kevin Korchinkski is away from the team for family reasons. With no timetable for his return, we wish him and his family all the best and hope for a quick return, although, family always comes first.

Kirk Day breaks down Kevin Korchinski being away from the team, and a potential MASSIVE Blackhawks trade.

  1. Every day I see a video of a huge trade in the works for the Oilers and then they start talking about a few no name players, and even that never happens.

  2. I think a bigger trade involving reichel…I can see a Kane, first, 2nd, and broberg. Maybe even foogle in as well and see a depth forward go hack as well as soderbloom….

  3. Oilers fan here. So many rumours concerning the Hawks and Oilers. Not sure anything will happen with Broberg, but who knows. I think Broberg is going to be a great player in the future. In a deal with Campbell might make sense for both teams and Campbell would be just okay for the Hawks and will definitely need to get his confidence back. As for getting what the Oilers could get back? Who knows at this points.

  4. Campbell is signed for too long.
CHI would need way more than Broberg and even a 2024 1st, especially if they have to throw Mrazek (who could be traded on his own) and an NHL roster player.

  5. I’d say that Vlasic is currently the best Hawks defenseman and it’s not really close. Easily the best in his own zone, and drives offense as well.

  6. Just what Edmonton needs. A grizzled veteran defenseman who is 19 years old and played in every situation at the NHL level. Sure, trade Broberg for him.
