I am blown away by the kindness of a stranger.

2 weeks ago, my best friend, wife of 10 years, and love of my life left me. I am currently at rock bottom and at the lowest point of my life mentally. I am selling pretty much everything I own to help meet the mortgage on the house we bought together less than a year ago, and had to reluctantly sell the custom made “Shoresy” shoes I purchased this spring.

The man who made the shoes ended up DMing me and had the unbelievable kindness and huge heart to send me these custom made North Stars shoes to replace them.

I spent my Christmas alone, and dead inside. Then these showed up at my door and immediately improved my mental state once I opened the package. I smiled for the first time in weeks.

This gesture was a huge bright spot in the darkest time of my life. I will never forget this, and it gave me hope for the future. I am amazed that a stranger I have never met would show this kind of compassion and generosity. Thank you SO much, u/TheMincy
