No way we can win this series now. I love this team and what they have accomplished just to be in this position, but game 6 was our chance. Boston will not lose game 7 on their home ice. Hopefully the Blues can get back again in 2-3 years. Next year will be too tough to get back to this point because of the fatigue and mental stress it's taken to get this far. Hopefully 2020 or 2021 will finally be our year.
Honestly, you deserved the ass kicking.
If our defense does not give the puck away in our D-zone we can beat any team in the NHL. This happens way too much and has cost us countless games including this one. Not to mention the bogus suspensions by the NHL.
The blues just matched Boston’s physicality. They need to be more physical. It seemed they were timid with they’re hitting. Especially after the schenn boarding call. Binnington always rebounds after a game like this but you gotta wonder when that well will run dry. We will see.
