Just give him the C already, even if it’s just for this year.
Bet the press couldn’t wait to shove a mic in Toews face after last week
He’d make a good captain.
That’s been an issue for years though. I remember it happening often during the Cup run. So this isn’t new.
It’s probably time to give him the C with the understanding that Landy gets it back if/when he’s back on the ice….and I imagine Toews would have no problem with that.
We need a Captain right now who is on the ice nightly.
