I've watched a lot of Jackets this season, I think Laine likes it there, but this run has been cursed. I could see the front office making a move, because he has not worked with Gaudreau.
It looks like there's chemistry there with Kent Johnson, then IMMEDIATELY got hurt. Jackets have a glut of forward prospects, Patty's still a valuable weapon… he's gotta be able to stay healthy

guy actually thinks Risto's cap hit is getting traded… He's a non factor offensively and can't play big minutes without looking terrible defensively, truly one of the overpaid defensmen in the NHL.
I dont see why tarasenko would be traded away, he fits well with stutzle and batherson which is their best line since a couple games. With the coaching change, ottawa could be a whole different team by the end of the season and next season could be the one. DJ Smith was here since 6 years and always had bad season starts, the last piece we had to change was changed so unless tarasenko doesnt produce at all, it wouldnt be wise from him to want out of ottawa until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
Following the All-Star weekend in Toronto, the Devils will trade Akira Schmid, Topias Vilen, Josh Filmon, Chase Stillman, a 2024 4th-rounder, and a 2025 7th-rounder to the Predators for Jusse Saros.
The Sharks also have Mikael Granlund and Kappo Kahkonen. They have been playing well over the last month. I think teams would be interested in them. One could argue that Granlund is a better player than Duclair right now.

For a guy whose analysis I usually concur with, I think you have gotten at least one of these dead wrong. That is Adam Larsson. In what universe would the Kraken trade a right-shot, top pairing, big minute D who plays well and is on a $4m AAV contract for another season?
That just makes no sense, especially as the Kraken have no one on the roster or in the pipeline to replace him. If you instead picked those on expiring UFA contracts like Wennberg, Eberle, or Schultz, then you might not be far off, if the team is not trending towards the playoffs.
Also, given their penchant for selling off players for draft picks, trading Vejmelka seems like what the Coyotes would do. Except, he has been the goalie on their recent run, they are in a playoff position, and they have so many draft picks over the next three years (20 in the first three rounds) that I think they might actually be buyers this year, if the success is still there come February.
