  1. I thought the hockey gods had a lot to do with the outcome and when they weren't putting up a force field in front of the Sens net Korpisalo was there to make some pretty good saves.

Anyway I don't like Toronto so I was happy to see the Sens win. I think the Sens are a better team than they've been showing and hopefully Martin and Staios can fix some of the things that got broken under Smith and Dorion. I for one would like to see an actual battle of Ontario get reignited because that was so much fun to watch back then.

I can't see how Toronto playing their top forwards 23 or 24 minutes a night is sustainable. They're already tired and by the time they get to the post season they're going to need help tying their skate laces. Smarter people than me are going to have a tough time figuring that problem out. The cap is not going up that much but it will help next year.

  2. Bigger question is when does Steve's job breaking Leafs games down starts to be a real job and becomes a real drag. I wouldn't want to do this for a living. I've started to lose interest in this team.

  3. I was actually thinking about this the other day and i think the main focus needs to be a solid right handed shot defenseman for the right side. Whether a top guy from a struggling team looking to sell, or even a solid number two d man on a good team to bolster the D and bump guys down the line. McCabe seemed to be targeted and struggling a bit tonight and i think moving guys down a pairing could really help that back end

  4. After being a fan of the Leafs for decades, I have humbly come to two conclusions on the current team. As much as I like Sheldon Keefe and his winning record I have realized that he is simply unable to get the best out of his troops and the team is not responding to him ( I'll take his top 4 of Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Rielly against any of the top 4 in the leauge). This team absolutely, desperately and right now needs a coach like Joe Quenneville (appeal to NHL) or Craig Berube whom are Rick Tocchet like. Secondly, assets Like Nylander, Marner and Matthew must remain as Leafs , they are the foundation to a serious cup run. An untouchable list of players should be made, such as; Woll, Jones, Knies, Domi, Robertson, Gregor, Bertuzzi, Jarnkrok, McMann, Rielly, McCabe, Lagesson, Benoit, Liljegren, Giordano and put the rest on the trading block (not up and comers like Minton and such), yes including Tavaris (get a topnotch D in his trade, I know of trade complications on his contract but if Gretzkey can be traded so can Tavares) and Samsonov (get a relatively decent C for him) Use the rest to get two big D men in 3 for 1 or 2 for 1 packages plus lower picks. Of course, all of this firstly and solely depends on getting one of the two tough coaches I mentioned above. Lastly and most importantly, right next to the coaching change, DO NOT LET GO OF NYLANDER. 💙💙💙 GLG 💙💙💙

  5. FYI I get korpi had a good night, but you're pulling the goalie card against a team that's had under .900 goalies since iPhones had home buttons on them

  6. Oh this is totally who they are. How many more games do you need after 7 years? How can you still expect anything different? This is the team, man. This is it.

  7. Some people come to YouTube in the morning to see what happened in the game, and then we scroll down and see your cheesy thumbnail pictures and it ruins our morning. Get a life, dippy.

  8. Good Video Clicked Like . Good game Bertuzzi it is to bad the other 19 guys on the team did not care if they won .

  9. It would be interesting to compare the former Leafs after they escape to other teams.

PS: I see the Leafs fighting for a wild card spot, at best, and if they make the playoffs, a first-round exit.

  10. Leafs now 1 point ahead of the last wildcard spot even though they sit 3rd in the division right now…Tampa creeping up… imagine if the leafs and penguins battle for the last wildcard spot at the end of the season?

  11. Jones looked nervous and stiff in warmies and Korp was looking like he was out for blood, I knew then the game was over before it started.

  12. When they play a game like this I say glad I didn't play a million dollars to go watch this crap….changed the channel at 3-2. And yes as a long time Leaf fan( in my 50s) I have seen worse but I have no confidence in this team winning anything but a playoff spot.

  13. It's amazing how this team is just a walking talking Nylander

Sometimes it tries and looks amazing other times it's playing shuffleboard in sweden
