But IMO Cale is equivalent to having the #1 AND #2 player in the NHL, with a bunch of guys tied for 3rd. I mean I'm a NYR fan & Fox is an absolute monster but it's not even an argument anymore as to who's the better player

Love Makar as a flames fan!!
He’s smart with the puck and has so many great attributes with his play. He has helped lead the Avs transformation from a speed only team to a fast and physical team. They are too good to not win the cup, they are so deep. Their goaltending is their weakest link most nights, but with the Avs shooting the puck 40-50 times a game and controlling the puck in their opponent’s end so often it’s hard to beat a team like this! Go Avs Go!!

He’s up there in point totals with high flying forwards. He scared Nashville last night drawing everyone away from the Avs camped in front of the net. Orr, Coffey, Lidstrom, and many other offense strong d-men never skated like Cale his edge work is a new level.
