We are seeing some slight improvement but DJ has damaged this team in so many ways, it will take a while to straighten out. From emotional play, confidence, 200ft play, defensive structure, less dump and chase to name a few. Many of us called for DJ to get removed after 10 games because we seen this coming. Not making that move earlier will cost us the playoffs yet another year. So all of you that wanted to give DJ more time, I hope you are happy. Its very upsetting to realize we have yet another playoff year down the drain because of sorry ass coaching. I know both Ross and Pilzy wanted that coaching change a while ago along with many of us and that makes me appreciate your hockey minds, appreciate your great podcasts!
I saw a stat pop up on T.V. that Brady Tkachuk is the only player that has 15+ goals with 70+ PIMS. Which oddly enough Tkachuk is on track to pass his season high record by a mile he already has 74 PIMS in 30 games the most he has had was 126 in a full 82 game season, last year. He is also on track to pass his season high in goals already having 16 in 30 his previous best was 35 in 82 last year.
I also like the fact that Jaques Martin is going with the same line. It helps build chemistry. I never understood how DJ expected to build chemistry when he would use different line combinations every game.
Chelsea Shawarma is also amazing btw if you’re looking for something a little closer. Shawarma Palace still great though 😅
