Doesn’t look like an elbow. Worst would be “head the primary point of contact”. Hard to see from those angles.

  2. niceisbriss

Can’t wait to watch this sub defend that dangerous hit to the head…..

  3. niceisbriss

Cringiest part is when Toronto called in Carolina to ask that Slaf leave the bench and go to the locker-room to get the concussion protocol. But no call on the play…

  4. Cautious-Mammoth-657

Slaf has a terrible habit of putting himself in stupidly dangerous positions. Not sure if he was maybe big as a youth player so didn’t need to worry about getting trucked, or what. But I’ve never seen a guy stretch for more pucks in the danger zone than him

  5. Habs need to bring the Sheriff back up from the AHL
X would’ve pumped this goof ball’s eyes shut

Hey people ,head up or head down. It’s a head shot. Shoulder to the chin. Because a skater has his head down does not gives anyone free rein to HURT the dude. The hitter knows full well he’s going to do damage. And all the asshats that say clean hit, you have not played enough hockey to verify such.

  7. GrimmHatter

What are they teaching in bantams these days? Christ almighty, this is becoming so prevalent in the league lately with kids not knowing how to properly protect themselves.

  8. Igniter08

Yeah, as good as a hit it is that looks like direct shoulder to head contact. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a call from the league.

  9. Rendole66

There was a way better hit/takedown by a habs player in this game on Carolina. I forget the players involved because I’m not a fan of either team but they ere in the corner and the habs player just cross checked the guy straight to the ground or something it was awesome

  10. One was playing hockey trying to make a play. Other player jumped into the hit… goal of hockey is to make a play with the puck. Never did that guy try to even touch the puck, just hurt someone.

Sooner or later some of the onus has to go back on the puck carrier. Head down, right through the center of the body, no elbow, no extension, the only reason any head contact whatsoever happens is because slaf buries his head late.

  12. metal_medic83

That is clearly shoulder to head. He could’ve easily made shoulder to shoulder contact and still erased him.

  13. Yikes!! Looked like the head was the first point of contact to me…

  14. Old-Unit-8159

It’s shoulder to head all you “clean hit” momos

  15. RevolutionUpbeat6022

Half this kid’s highlights are of him getting blasted 😂

  16. KN1GH7F4LL

Elbow… bad look hope this gets reviewed, hit was dirty

  17. Dry_Mulberry_6807

His head did get hit. Ouch. I hate seeing young kids get hit in the head.
But he did have his head down, not that that’s a excuse for a bad hit

  18. ExtremeNo1952

People on this sub are fucking morons. Even if his head was up the other dude came straight for the head and extended his elbow afterwards, this is not a clean hit by any means

  19. This looks like the Eric Lindros career trajectory, if he does well.

  20. How many times does he need to get absolutely crushed to realize he’s gotta keep his head up?

You aren’t the biggest guy out their anymore man, you would think a guy like Marty St. Louis would slam that into his head harder then Luke Schenns shoulder last year at this point.

  21. canadachris44

Man, this term ‘deletes’ is annoying as fuck! What happend to levelled, hammered, crushed, nailed, destroyed lol. Nobody besides reddit says ‘Deletes’
