I thought Keefe made a couple big mistakes that may have cost them the game. I like Keefe, but still think we could do better.
Im starting to think the Leafs made a huge mistake by letting Dubas go before Keefe. I think Keefe should have been the first to go. Its not like he took a bottom feeder team and made them into a contender.. he stepped into a good team and just kept the ball rolling. He needs to stop screwing with the lines, thats what training camp is for and when you find 4 lines that click, you keep them together until they no longer click, plain and simple..and we NEED a big 3 or 4 player, old school hockey trade as of like YESTERDAY. If it means trading Marner or Willy..Treliving really soon needs to figure it out and pull the trigger on something. The game against the Sens tonight showed why we need to shake up the blueline. You cant win in the playoffs by playing a decent 20 minutes. WE NEED ATLEAST 2 SHUT DOWN DMEN ASAP. They can NOT wait until the deadline..and if Sammy cant get going pretty damn soon, theyre gonna have to figure the goaltending situation out too. In a perfect world, Marner would be packaged with Robertson and either Brodie or Lilly for a massive haul, were talking a decent goalie, a 3rd line shut down center and atleast 1 top 4 shut down dman maybe 2..and then give willy 10 or 10.5..but thats why im not an NHL GM.🤔
Keefe should have been gone after the habs series, the problem is who your going to get to replace him ? Has be a cup winning coach, if it's not Q then there's no point ..right now. They stopped playing afer the 1st and thats on coaching.
The Leafs should be able to shut down a team like Ottawa but Keefe has spent years showing his players that not defending is rewarded with more ice time. Only offense matters. Now the defensive effort is lacking a lot of the time. It can only be fixed by bringing in a coach who understands that defense wins. No amount of offense can outscore lazy.

#34 is a great goal scorer, however he plays ZERO defense (not alone) – Sens 3rd or 4th goal stands out…center ice he just quit once the puck passed him. stood at the boards and watched…prima donna deluxe. When you see crap like this…think about the blue collar Dad's that mortage the house to keep their season tickets… sick.

Just a bit if constructive feedback, when you record the audio record them locally on your computer. So then youre not getting that little laggy audio dropouts that happens on zoom and the quality will be better 🤘🏼
How deflating to see them squander yet another lead. Nylander missed his assignment to cover Giroux, in my opinion is when the tires fell off. Thats when they stopped skating yet again. Really not surprised, losing to low level team.
They are now 1 and 3 in the last four games.
For the most part the Leafs are gutless pukes ,who rarely finish their checks. This starts with the coach ,who is also gutless, cowing down to management, afraid to berate his best players for fear of retribution.Do not offend the stars. If he cannot speak his own mind and do what he wants to do, what good is he ….useless. Have some balls Keefe or quit or prepared to be fired anyways. The fish stinks from the head down.

they are reminding me of the canucks of last year who had lots of scoring but couldn't hold on to a lead. rutherford and alvin have turned that around with no budget. time for shanahan to be sent to the unemployment line.
Senators have a great young club. They're at the bottom of the league, but shouldn't be with that talent.
