I hate how many people are calling this kid overrated, he simply isn't. I'm so excited to see where this kid's future goes, he is no ordinary hockey player at all. As a Leafs fan, I love seeing this kid dominate. He is legit.

The only reservation I have about the fancy OT goal is it's 3-on-3. That's not real hockey. Take two guys off the ice for the other team, of course it's much easier to score a goal like that. Luke Hughes scored a similar one for the Devils last night but at least there were 12 guys on the ice.
I went out of my way to watch his first pre season game as a proi with the Pats to get a taste of the home opener. The stands were filled.

As a Jets fan all I can say is WoW. He’s better than good. Love that skill and will are shutting up anyone who thinks a ‘smaller’ player can’t make it in this league- and he’s only 18. I wish him well even though I want my team to shut him down next game. That said the media over- coverage of specific markets and players continues to annoy. But it ain’t the fault of the players.

People who thought he wouldn’t adjust to the NHL clearly have way too high expectations for players not named Connor Bedard. If he can’t adjust, I’d love to see the prototypical 18 year old who can.
