The Flyers point streak ended last week, but they found a way to erase a 5-goal deficit and pick up a point in Detroit before the Christmas break.
Now away for the annual Disney On Ice road trip, Samuel Ersson and Philly begin with a game in Vancouver against Elias Pettersson, Quinn Hughes, Thatcher Demko and the Canucks.
Charlie & Bill break down the action, and maybe dive a bit into Cutter Gauthier and the WJC tournament, as well.

The key to the game that I saw, that is becoming a regular thing… The Flyers just outworked the Canucks. Not the entire game…but when they did, it turned into points.
Atkinson….yea… he's beyond squeezing to tight. But, standing up for his mate, blocking shots… He's working and playing tough and sometimes tough is enough.
The Flyers….after the past…. what… decade…. Need to worry about defensive hocky and not putting up big numbers. You know, Flyer hockey. Outwork the opposition every night. Play strong defensive PHYSICAL hockey and…the points will come. Like any other sport, offense wins games, defense wins championships! Defense is the foundation for everything else on the ice. Cam… He's stepping up his other side of the puck and so long as he's doing that….settle down people. The points and the Goals…they will come. I think reminding a player how many games its been since he scored….not helpful. Scoring is only half the game.
I like where Torts has this team headed. TEAM! Thats how they are playing, thats how they are away from the ice and rink…and thats how they are winning games!
Now….Calgary on New Years eve? Thats either gonna really suck or….maybe them Alberta girls are gonna like having some winners around to ring in the new year eh! Giv'em hell, Boys! Ferda!
