I’m a Ranger fan so I don’t follow the west too much. Let’s say Chicago wins the lottery this year, signs Peterson and Nylander. Boom, rebuilds done and that team is a wagon. I think if they win the lottery the already extremely low chance Petterson leaves only goes up a few ticks but it’ll make for exciting news so I’m all for it.

Maybe managment puts out these stupid rumors in a effort to pressure EP to sign and silence the distractions and the questioning. Insiders are given information and also misinformation as management needs. People need to calm down. One bad game and this fan base explodes into panic and negativity.
