This is what I mean when I say Georgie is beautifully inconsistent. Both teams fought hard, Bennington being disrespectful as always, and the Avs playing a full game. This really did feel like a playoff game.
Avs at their worst are still better than the Blues at their best…that's the difference in talent.

Hearing John Kelly still makes me think of him & Peter Mcnab(RIP) doing Av games together through the 1st 2 Cup runs-including WCF at least-6 of their 1st 7 yrs in Denver. Even all these years later-still the best Av combo-no disrespect to the guys now.
But big bounceback win after that disastrous Az collapse left us with a tie,in what shouldve be a guaranteed win. And for Giorgiev to be the best player-not something weve seen often-since the 1st 5-6 games of the season. Just a start-but important every time he plays that good. And RyJo with multi point night.
