  1. Wow! I didn’t notice this when I watched the game. Looks like a close one

Love him, but this guy is Dan Girardi. His body is not going to hold up playing this style.

Players really should wear a tighter chin strap. It really takes a serious injury for just a few to care enough. Barely any players have neck guards. Only a handful use the ear protection.

Shit post comment: like we wouldn’t be able to swap in a new cybernetic one in 15 minutes anyway, for all we know he’s on his third already.

Actual serious comment: holy friggin crap, this is why I wore a full cage in beer league. Lindy gotta be more careful…

Lindgren would get his eye kicked out in the 2nd and come back out for the 3rd wearing an eye patch.

  6. Yeah it was super scary to watch. The skates looked very close.

I’m really starting to feel like all players should wear bubbles and neck guards

Looks like we got a spare part lying around for lindy

When did this happen? I don’t remember seeing it last night.

I noticed this and cringed. It was so damn close

Guy has to tighten that helmet strap. Going to be end up like Michael Sauer. Sauer could have saved Rangers from resigning Girardi.

Watching that play develop and seeing Lindy throw caution to the wind and dive headfirst down by the skates of someone driving to the net makes me think that he really has zero concern for his safety out there. I love Lindgren’s game but he really needs to wake the fuck up about his own wellbeing. Forget losing an eye. He could of just as easily got his neck stepped on by a skate.

While I thoroughly believe Lindy would have been back out there with one eye, I’m glad we didn’t have to see his Odin impression.

how does this man find new ways to get maimed each game

I love Lindgren but his situational awareness to injuries must get significantly better
