T&S: The class of Erik Karlsson on full display during handshake line

Erik Karlsson was incredible during the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs and his genuine class shone through in Game 7 after the game.

  1. He's in a class of his own. Karlsson is the best all around player in the world. There is no one who does what he does at both ends of the rink, period, end of story.

  2. I'm a die hard pens fan but pure class from karlsson the dude is a hell of a defenseman he will win a few cups no doubt

  3. Toast of the NHL right now… Karlsson what a beast. Always saw him as one player… then I saw him hack that bruin fan for trying to take his teammates stick.

That staredown by Karlsson was so epic. Good for the Sens to have such a player, looking forward to many years of him showing the rest of the NHL what class is.

  4. Karlsson has always been a class act. I remember when my team (Rangers) beat them in the playoff series (2012 I think it was, not sure) and he was like this in the handshake line. Very nice person.

  5. Totally agree about your analysis regarding Karlsson. Just think of all of that lost time he suffered because of the bone-head who deliberately cut his Achilles tendon.

  6. Erik Karlsson is not just a leader for the Senators, but for the NHL. He inspired a lot of new people to start tuning in to the NHL. Amazing guy

  7. Big analysis. So sure of themselves. Lol! Neither of these clowns can even skate. Just like the rest of those chairborne commando media jackoffs. The hockey media are such a joke.

  8. Who knew that a professional ice hockey player shared his name with a bouldering vlogger, both of them from Sweden. I'm seriously amused that there are two Eric/k Karlssons. Look it up: EricKarlssonBouldering here on youtube. He has some awesome climbing vlogs.

  9. Has Karlsson's class ever been doubted? I'm a Canuck's fan and even I know what a legend he is. Nothing but respect for that guy

  10. Interesting vid. I got to watch a display of sportsmanship, the given name of class in sports, and listen to the biggest idiots on TV prove it again, talking like 10 year old house leaguers. Sid please, long walk, short pier.

  11. he just genuinely loves the game and enjoys the challenge, im sure hed love to win every single game and win his team the cup but you can tell its more than just money and wins for this guy. not a sens fan by any means nor a sharks fan but I respect the hell out of Karlsson, hes a great example of what each and every player should aspire to be, ill start watching SJ games just because hes an exciting player to watch (btw, id better see a sea of 'teal Karlsson jerseys' at all Ottawa games for now on, they did him dirty on that trade)

  12. 2years later , now he’s a San Jose shark 🦈 he may not be the same impactful player as he was before but I still love him regardless he’ll be back at that level of hockey in no time oh yeah he also had a lil baby this year so maybe him having family time would be a boost for him to come back stronger than last season he played but anyways hope & wish everyone happiness & a great day take care ((:

  13. This season you have to think Carlson should be on the top line with Sids line and he's good enough to elevate every single player he has a chance to play along side? As we have all witnessed just from last year, then the Pens have Tanger to open arm's with whatever helps the Pens chance of success, this is a team going in the right direction and becoming a team that other good players have to be noticing around the league that Dubas is 💯 percent trying to take a swing for the fence's and that is exactly the kind of leadership that was necessary to help these core player's in the ladder 🪜 part of their careers, I wouldn't be surprised if they at least sign 1 more true and experienced winger just to make sure they have an opportunity for success while Jake the snake Guentzle can be able to heal comfortably and not have to rush him into the line up and let his surgery completely heal.

  14. Him and Crosby, Malkin, Tatar? I still believe Kyle Dubas would help his odds of having good success and support and bring in 1 more top 6 winger to ensure the Pens aren't short handed without Jake and bake? Even if it's for only 10/20 games it would still give the Pens another element possible of affecting line up decision's which for a coaching staff s dream come true but that's exactly what this team needs, they have 2 quarterback's on their 2 top lines the chips are laid out ,and when you add them all up in my opinion? They are coming up short 1 top 6 winger?

  15. “I think Erik Karlsson might have another one of these runs in him…”

Hopefully this year with Pittsburgh he’s running all the way to Lord Stanley!!
