GOD DAMNIT
Hey at least the PP showed signs of life tonight. The Hockey Gods were not kind tonight but they didn’t play terribly.

Schenn needs to be benched a game idc if he’s the captain. Something is up he’s injured or just not giving it 100% and there were multiple times this game that was needed.
It’s never just one person, but put someone else up on the PP1 if he’s shooting muffins and not playing aggressive.
Also we ran the irons like 4 times that game Pittsburgh really didn’t outplay us by much. Let’s get the next one.
We must have angered the hockey gods because they have forsaken us the past two nights.
This team played well enough to get at least two points on this back to back. Even four was completely in reach. Caught absolutely zero breaks, frustrating couple games.
Where the fuck is Vrana? Sammy Blais shouldn’t play another game. Walker is a ppg in the A and should get a chance. Our bottom 6 isn’t cutting it and we have players in Springfield that can give us a better chance to win. The fourth line has been terrible.

Takeaways:
1. Crippling two straight losses for our playoff chances. Played well enough to win both but didn’t. As frustrating as it is I’m still encouraged by the team’s play under bannister. They have a chance to win every game and aren’t getting doubled up in shots on goal like they were with Berube.
2. Kyrou is the hockey equivalent of warning track power this season. Makes some incredible plays with the puck and just can’t finish. I’m still gonna believe in him but it’s been really tough for him this season.
3. Schenn. Is this a slump or who he is? I knew a guy like him we’d see his game fall off a cliff but holy fuck he’s not contributing anything in any area of the ice. I know what I would do (scratch him), but I don’t know what Doug and coach would do. It’s a really bad look to bench your captain but he’s a liability right now.
I guess we’re back to being average again!!
I hate it when the St. Louis Blues lose hockey games.
Also, I made a killer Shrimp and Grits tonight which I ate during the 1st period, which forced me into a food coma by the 3rd. The nap was great, but losing always sucks.
