Nice shot, I will never be a fan of goalies being down on their knees like that, but that’s how they are told to play these days and if they played differently they wouldn’t be in the league. Mcdavid eased that one in there, he didn’t put a lot on it at least. Respect.
Awesome shot by McDavid. But once again, another Pro Goalie down wayyyyyy toooo early. For some reason this is the thing to do when players are driving the net from the corner, but if you aren’t covering the top 3rd of the net, you are looking to get lit up time and time again by these guys. He should have stood up and hugged the post, because McDavid didn’t have a pass to the slot anyways. Too many of these goals these days.
