Kovacevic Scores One of STRANGEST GOALS in NHL History, Tampa still Tampa…
Montreal Canadiens lose 4-3 to Tampa Bay Lightning December 31st, 2023. Jonathan Kovacevic scores bizarre empty net goal in middle of the game. Suzuki, Caufield also score for Canadiens.
Monty was focused and mentally sharp on the goal, he was telling Kovacevic to shoot the puck. I'm not sure Kovacevic even realized what was going in the beginning.
Heads up Play by Monty Then he let's in a stinker of stinkers Dude how can you comment when you don't even watch the games Put in an Earbud tsn 690 It's called Radio
Somebody made a comment about putting Barron up as a forward while we're short one. Can't hurt as he's horrible as a defenseman and is always getting caught too deep in the O zone. Crazy game for sure. Keep em coming when you can bud . Always appreciated ! GHG
You can see how far away we are when we play Tampa and how little offensive threat we have. I watched the first two periods of the RedWings and Bruins as I rarely have time to watch the other non Habs games and it also was a mile above what I've been watching. Quick snappy interchanges where the passes are bang on, not a little bit behind or too far in front. Their PP was rapid and unpredictable from both teams, none of this wasting 1 minute of each PP with the drop pass and taking 20 seconds to get in the zone. No where near as much chip and half interested chase. We got by last year because the excitement every time Cole was on the ice. This year it feels much flatter sadly. When's Newhook back!
Is a 2-0 lead the mark of doom? How many times do teams get a 2-0 lead and wind up blowing the lead. It is especially true if there is a power play afterward and the lead doesn't expand you have to hope you salvage a point, Barron needs to rest a few games.

It is too bad they couldn't win this one.
HNY amigo… that was hilarious last night… all the best in the New Year for you and yours

Matheson is equally as bad defensively as he is good offensively.
The Habs deserved the win, they were all over Tampa. Too bad

Feel like this team has slunk below .500 for the final time this season… I don’t see them climbing back up
Lol we have been saying that slaf has been doing well lately… For him to ghost again 😭😂. Idk anymore
Happy new year Drew. When was the last time we beat either Tampa or the Panthers, home or away? I just don't get it.
Kovacevic is 10 times better than Barron
Monty went hero to boner on the Watson goal and he knew it

Montreal started Canada's Stanley Cup drought…therefore…
Pathetic game last night by Habs. Two "free" goals for the Habs and two missing defencemen for Tampa Bay, and Habs lose…
Armia needs to back to Laval for another tune up. He is sagging a bit…
Is there nothing Hughes could do to generate more offence and support the team through the reconstruction?

Standard reminder to not mention Watson in any shape or form, he is a total POS who admitted to domestic assault against the mother of his young child
