In last nights game against the Anaheim Ducks the Arizona Coyotes absolutely dominated the once Mighty Ducks coming off the back of their absolutely incredible overtime win against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday.

We saw them down here in Melbourne for the preseason and even against the Kings, they held their own and that Cooley goal seemed to spark so much life and excitement into the franchise. Love to see it.

About that "embarrassing arena" thing. I've been to games out in Glendale and at Mullett now and I can tell you Mullett has magic. Yes it's tiny for an NHL barn but as a result every seat is premium. Also, there's a vibe there that Glendale NEVER had. Sun Devils hockey is also a blast and I'm especially looking forward to next season when ASU joins the NCHC and will become a conference rival with my alma mater.
Personally, I also love it because the commute to it is easier. I can get to it via light rail from my house in less time than I could drive to Glendale. The rail doesn't get closer than 8 or 9 miles to there either so it's not an option at all.
I may be an Oilers fan, but man I want the Coyotes to do good. In part because their fans deserve better, and also in part because playoff games being played at a college arena is too funny to not happen.
I was actually expecting something like this from the Yotes. I hope they can make it to the playoffs! Also, I'm extremely impressed by Maccellis play.
