  1. Burky better not try convince Hex to bring Jack Johnson back the Pens LMAO

Hence: He got out voted by his scout in Anaheim before they selected Bobby Ryan with #2 at the 2005 NHL Draft as he wanted to draft Jack Johnson instead.

  2. Brilliant choice for GM and I called it from the start. Hextall will be superb at developing, but not rushing, the younger players for this team's future. Burke is experienced and no-nonsense in his administrative approach. These two hires bode well for the Penguins' future. I must disagree with you, however, regarding the rebuild. Frequently, what is said openly to the public is not necessarily what will happen. This team is dangerously bereft of prospects and the time to rebuild is now. Ultimately, Mario and Burkle will make that decision. Let's see what happens, but the past two-and-a-quarter seasons clearly mandate where this team needs to go. Cup days are over.

  3. Brian Burke's a cool guy, so I think he'll bring invaluable insight and tons of experience to the Penguins franchise. I also like the hire of Ron Hextall, as he seems like a natural fit, even before knowing he had a personal connection to the team in his formative years. Good job, Super Mario!

  4. The really good NHL teams have transitioned to a more Defensive overall Game Plan Boston Washington St Louis Tampa Bay and now Toronto and Montreal, Pens need to find some very enthusiastic hockey Players to help play this Style. Sullivan must go because they are no longer listening to him.
