Went down to watch the B Sens thrash the Rocket. Great game. Soggy was great in net. His development from last year to this year is really noticeable. Super calm and collected and beating him seems like such a daunting task for the opposition. Have to say I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing him in Ottawa sooner rather than later…

Branny did awesome but i think he hates it bad
When I saw Branny on the wing the first thing I thought of was Pillzy
On the Red Scarf FB group, I was the only one saying in the last couple weeks that Brannstrom should be a forward. I said this BEFORE the Sens put him at forward! He has the skating and skills and he doesn't cover the front of the net that well on defense anyway. We have a plethora of defense picks. Branny on the 3rd or 4th line can bring some real skill and some scoring that we need!!!
The wildest part of the Branny experiment for me was they had him playing D on the PK, I donno if I've ever seen that in my life lol
Branny looked better than DeBrincat playing there
Branny needs an extended look at the wing position
I think Brannstrom should be on the 3rd line and put "no score Kelly" (ok he does get 1 or 2 per season) on the 4th line.
Martin should have told Timmy he's starting in net.

My key for tonight vs canucks is to reduce the turnovers, especially D turnovers. Sabres could have killed them if they could only finish based on the # of turnovers. They got lucky to escape that game with a 5-1 score. They will not likely be as lucky vs the canucks. Fix this key area, and they stand a good chance I think.
GoSensgo! I get up about 5:30 am so I’m going to likely miss the post cast vibing (notice I said vibing). I am excited to watch PWHL game tonight though. Let’s go Ottawa! Nice to have you back boys.
Alfie was on defence most of his career in Sweden. Came to Ottawa as a forward and exceeded expectations and had a great career in the NHL. Maybe Branny can have a very good NHL career in a mixed role.

Branny in the offensive zone probably held the puck on the longest time of the 4th lines this season hands down. He did great. But sucks cause he didn't seem to like it..

3 pairs 20 mins a night, give some of hamonic/JBD/Branny ice time to Chych/Chabby/Sandy. Perfect strat . Keeps everyone fresh and we always have someone who can break the game open on each d pair.

4th line won the game for the Sens against the Sabres…. Another strong performance from the bottom two would go a long way to help this team beat the Canucks

For 2024 to be successful I want to see the team fight till the very end in this season bring a winning culture to the room and MAYBE sneak into the P word(although unlikely). Bring some calmness during the off season and start next season off strong
Branny as a bottom 6 fwd is highly entertaining.
It also makes disturbingly little sense.
If there’s no D role on a given night he should be scratched.
