I’ve always enjoyed watching the women play at the Olympics as much as the men and a unified best-on-best professional league is long overdue imo. Fingers crossed for a stable and successful league this time

I watched some highlights and I was really impressed with the level of play and the physicality, much closer to the style of play we’re used to watching the men than international women’s play with the tighter checking rules.
And they have some cool rule additions like 3-2-1 scoring and a SHG ending the power play.
I was a fan of the Beauts. Hopefully we get a team again…

Weird decision
I’m excited and trying to pick a team. I’m thinking Ottawa because a girl on the team who scored today is from Buffalo
One of the defenseman on Minnesota is from Fairport (idk how familiar Buffalo people are with Rochester suburbs but if its similar to my non-existent knowledge of Buffalo suburbs, thats a rochester suburb just to be clear)
I don’t get why they took the Beauts away and then gave a team playing In Connecticut the NY title. Hopefully, we can get a team soon.
