Good win, but they still need to look for a right Dman and the person that could fill that spot if they can get Tanev that would improve it so much, and if the Oilers could make it happen but try and see if they could get left and a center men and that man could be Jake Guentzel and put him on the second Line with Draisaitl, that would be something and I wouldn't complain.
1st month 5-12-1. 2nd month 13-3 (if win vs Anah)… so in the fight. Importantly vs best teams; have been able to win/ compete w all except FLA & TPA… likely due to their forecheck. -seem to be removing some of the laziness (mental) from that 1st month.. better line changes/too many men, less penals.. so likely Woodcroft was lacking some discipline/focus.
LA scored both goals in the first. The Oilers had like 4 shots on goal. The only reason this wasn't 4 or 5 to nothing was really Stu. Second period Oilers come alive, McDavid on a PP Goal, Leon from Connor for the 2nd goal. Then both sides totally shut it down. OT it was LA that was pressing but no scoring in OT. Then the Shootout. Connor, Nuge, and the wiley vet Derek Ryan scored for the Oilers (with Ryan getting the GWG). LA had Moore and Kempe score but Grundstrom and Kopitar didn't get it done. Neither did Leon. Rivalry game. Hate that LA got a Bettman point for it but we got 2. Take care all.
First period looked bad but Stew kept them in it. Was thinking Connor Brown might get a winner. Exciting game and a huge win. Lavoie was actually interfered with but zebras were terrible for both sides. Rodrique did not look good on his last game.
Hey Patrick, another early morning forme in Germany to support my Team (4:00 am live start). It was a real bad start in the first period, getting 2 goals against us, and what should i say, same precedure as very game, 3 Oilers go into the corner, one out of the slot, back pass from the kings into the empty slot, direct shoot goal. Skinner looks not good with the glove hand. second goal by Kempe, getting a good pass and shoot high over the glove hand into the goal. skinner makes a few good saves, but always if he can save it with his legs, he isnt good with his gloves, try to train him… . with the beginning of the second period the game changed, Connor and Drai start their own little battle against LA. They both fight from the bully on up to the change with all the power they had and scored both to wqualize the match. also skinner became better. better positioning and no puck passed him till the end. so overtime, also no goal, because of the great save of Nuge. Penalty hero became Ryan by scoring the forth penalty for a good win. Another match what we ve turned into a win! now we are 17-15, looking much better than before a few weeks. Wish you and every other Oilers fans a happy new year full of freedom and health, cheers from Germany up to the next match in 2024 !

I'll be honest, I was thinking who shoots next? Macleod? Hyman? Really, Derek Ryan? Ok, good choice! Big win boys!
Mcdavid magic, and thanks to Derek Ryan
Conner Brown -9 SAT (Corsi) how did this guy ever score 20 goals in this league?
Skinner played well, Vintage McDavid

Skinner was great. Could have been 4-0 after the first period.
