I would say after watching basically the first half of the season that, knock on wood, losing in the scf put fire in this team and its showing in our games this year. Tonight was a good game and now we just need to bring the momentum to Vegas and knock them off.
Mackie and Sourdif are playing first line minutes in Charlotte together on the same line building chemistry, no point in bringing them up and having them struggle in Maurice's defensive system let them develop for a year in the AHL

McJesus made the Flyers look like Keystone kops. Mear mortals cannot touch him at this point. The Oil looked as motivated as I've ever seen them. Torts was steamed, maybe he should've prepared with some video. Knobber has his lines clicking, and seems to match them effectively. Maurice has always hated the Oilers IMO, and tries to dominate them physically. I want to see that match up.
