Looks like a super easy goal, but as a goalie I can say that those bounces are the worst. Goalies job is to predict most of the time. If the puck is really close to you and moves unpredictably, you will be/have your glove in a bad position, and by the time you react you are too late.

The goalie looks bad here but this is a very unpredictable bounce that’ll beat even the best of them. Yea, obviously there was a way to prevent it, but it’s easy to say while sitting on your ass eating doritos.

I was blasted for the past few years for saying we needed an actual reliable goaltender in Ottawa. Its literally the most important missing piece to the puzzle but whatever, we’d be better off with a pylon.
