  1. Only problem I have with the trade is could have we asked for more besides Faber & a 1st. We could have also got an extra 5th or anything down.

  2. This trade is a slam dunk – remember, we weren’t going to be able to afford Fiala. To gain assets and a potential team captain for a decade, game over. When or if Ohgren develops as projected, the Kings will be in a WTF mode..

  3. LA traded 3 NHL level RD in the last 2 off seasons all are performing excellent, LA moved all 3 to leave because they didn't need them, Matt Roy is the most underrated player in the NHL, the best player no one has heard of, Jordan Spence has 11 assists and great possession numbers and Brandt Clarke is in the AHL waiting for an opening truthfully Fialla brought more to LA than Faber could for the given situation

  4. Fiala is the most dynamic winger the Kings have had since Ziggy Palffy. Faber could win the Norris multiple times and I'd still do the trade over as a Kings fan. Good win-win for both organizations.

  5. LAs blue line is not thin at all they're a top 3 defensive team, and their blue line is so stacked at Right D that Brandt Clarke is putting up a point per game in the AHL, and still can't crack the roster yet, and one of the main reasons their offense is so good is because of Fiala his playmaking has made a huge impact they would easily do this trade again.. Both teams got what they needed this is the definition of a win-win trade

  6. It's a great trade for both organizations but from a Wild perspective only and how they couldn't afford to keep Fiala, this was an absolute homerun.

  7. Kings have defense to spare, especially from the right side. Hence this trade, the Durzi trade to Arizona, the Walker trade to Philadelphia.

  8. Fiala is the 2nd leading scorer on one of the top teams in the league offensively.

Brock was a great prospect but the Kings have DD, Roy, Spence, and an equal value player to Faber in Brandt Clarke currently developing into a future #1.

Kings were ranked at the bottom on the power play a few seasons ago and with Fiala instantly became top 4 in the league last season.

This season he is still just as dangerous and the only reason the power play is ranked middle of the pack is not because of Fiala but because of an injury to our top scoring right handed shooter and the overload on left handed forwards.

As soon as Arvidsson comes back LA's power play (with Fiala) will rank amongst the best in the league again.
