The world has caught up to Canada. USA has a better national team program and are turning out a high number of NHL level players. I love the Canadian passion for hockey. USA has caught up due to the huge population difference. Someday we will be North America not two separate countries. Canada has to adopt the first amendment–freedom of speech including hate speech. Only difference really.

MAF isn't going to the habs. we're trying to trade a goalie, not acquire one. and if we did want to get one, it would have to be an upgrade. MAF isn't that anymore. see what the oilers are willing to give. or someone else who needs a backup/tutor. it'd make all the sense in the world for the sabres if they were in contention, but they're not. perhaps arizona if they move vejmelka.

This is what happens when there aren't enforcers. Enforcers would deter players like Hartman. Hartman went for a talented player, cause they injured Kaprizov. Old school tactic, but Enforcers hindered those kind of plays. Player safety is a joke lol.

Signing Nylander to a big contract like that based on 1 year of production worth that money is a big mistake in my opinion…. players get that money and sometimes they get comfortable and lazy and you have to make sure he can produce like that all the time and I have a feeling he’s going to go back to a 80-90 point player…. Nathan MacKinnon EARNED his deal and he’s worth that money Absolutely no way is Nylander worth 1 million or so less than MacKinnon 🤦🏼♂️💀…. Oh well I’m not a leafs fan, But if I was Toronto I would trade Nylander Sign stamkos and If you can’t move Nylander you keep Nylander and move Marner and Sign Stamkos… Having a player like Stamkos is what the leafs need.
I think Lindholm to the Jets for a 1st and a grade A prospect like Chaz Lucius could work for both teams.

1. I agree it Doesnt make sense for the wild to Trade MAF, they are down their starting Tender and the future tender is also out with injury.
2. This is back to back games the Jets have put Kaprizov on IR, intentionally or not isnt going to matter at that point. Hartman going after a big guy like jets want is retarded, its always been an unwritten rule you take out our skill guy we'll target yours…. this falls on the NHL/Refs/Player safety failure to do something before Hartman took it into his own hands. I didnt agree with how Hartman did it but i fully agree with him choosing to go after someone, it probably would have been Connor if he wasnt already nursing his knee. If i was Hartman i would have lined a skill guy up and put him on his butt l anytime he was near me, i dont like using sticks as weapons its lame (that applies to cheap cross checking as well).
3. The kid from the jets going and snitching about it after the game will probably not do him any favors in the future, it shouldve been left on the ice or behind closed doors amongst his teammates. The jets/wild games in February and April will be interesting, its just good to see theres 2 teams that still hate each other in the NHL, i feel alot of the rivalries have gotten so soft you cant really call them rivalries anymore

Senators should trade the whole team, Brady, Stutzle, Norris, Chabot, Chychurn, Korpisalo, Brannstrom trade all of these soft perimeter players and rebuild through the draft. What an embarrassment of a franchise. I'm confident Belleville would do better in the Nhl than Ottawa.
On Hartman: It's possible that "confession" was just to get under his skin and not true. It's not like he was under oath.
Even if Landeskog comes back how well will he be able to skate? Two years away from hockey you would think he would be a shell of himself.
The Czechia player shot the puck, it went off the stick of the Canadian player trying to cover him, off the leg of another Canadian player in front of the net, off the post and in. Hasn't really been a good year for Canada in terms of international sports. Our national tennis team fell to Finland at the Davis Cup, our national women's soccer team failed to make it out of the group stage at the Women's World Cup, and now our World Junior team fails to make it out of the quarter-finals. Our Spengler Cup team also didn't make it to the Cup Finals.
what are the chances that the Sharks trade for Nylander and give him a HUGE payday to jumpstart the rebuild with a legit superstar player.
