  1. To be fair, I love Jones, but I don’t think the game against the ducks is a good representation. The leafs offense was insane and the ducks arnt a very good team. Jones wasn’t really tested in that game. The Kings one I think was promising tho.

  2. I’ve loved Jones since his time in SJ. He’s struggled, but he’s also carried us to a deep playoff run. I’m interested to see what Jones can do for Toronto. Regardless, he should be a great veteran presence for Woll.

  3. Always thought Jones was an underrated goalie. Seen him play many times, was always impressed with his play. You can see it on the ice, he's always well positioned, balanced and moves around efficiently, exactly what a mature goalie needs to adjust to if he's to survive playing in the NHL level at his age.
Additionally, Jones is conservative with his depth play, so he's rarely caught out of position and rarely lets in weak goals.
Leafs are in good hands with Woll and Jones.

  4. Four 30 win seasons , a career 2.70 goals against average, a career 906 save percentage, and he won 27 games with the Kraken last year. WHY are all of these hockey geniuses surprised?

  5. Kraken fan here. Jones partially carried the team to the playoffs last year, he may struggle sometime but when he's on, he's on. Respect!

  6. The Toronto market is anathema to goalies, even veteran ones. Let's see what happens when he hits a skid of 2 or 3 bad games in a row. How will he handle it? This market s unlike any other he's eve played in and the pressure destroyed Soupy Campbell and it looks like Sammy also.
