Martin is not Martan in English lol the "tin" its not "tan" in English, it's not the same tone. I'm french Canadian and I know it's hard for English to pronounce French name, there is a way to know how, ask a French guy how to spell it:)
I love how these fans like to throw around the word dominate…to me that word should be reserved for blow out wins…when the team gets outshot every night one game 8 shots on goal in 2 periods is not dominant
Slafkovsky will impress me when he learns how to one-time a shot and hit the net with it. If I were Martin St. Louis, I would have this kid practicing nothing but one-timers for an hour per practice until he gets them right. Catching a pass and playing with it before you shoot only allows the goaltender to position himself to stop the shot. An NHL goaltender only takes about a half a second to reposition himself to stop a shot so you need to get your shot off within that half a second or you will not score on an NHL goaltender. Case in point? Slafkovsky!
