Why are there local broadcasts for nationally televised games? Those games are basically people without MSG’s (or streamers’) only chance to watch games. The NHL is trying its hardest to make sure people can’t consume its product.

I have watched like, one Devils game on the actual TV all season. Every other game has been pirate streamed on my phone or PC. It’s annoying man, I wanna relax on the couch and watch on a big screen. I have Youtube TV, I have ESPN+ available. But I basically never get to legally watch games, even when there’s a national broadcast.

Haven’t been able to watch a game in 3 years since Comcast dropped msg. And I’m not paying for msg+ because it’s absolute trash

Crazy that I still gotta pirate to watch a game when I subscribe to so many streaming services! I watched a lot of out of state games because of this blackout stuff though.

Ya gotta VPN it if you are trying to do this “legally” within blackout zones. It’s the only way.
