Tom Willander, Jonathan Lekkerimaki and Elias Pettersson help Sweden get through to the finals of the 2024 WJC against USA. Lekkerimaki had 2 goals and Tom Willander had an assist. the 3 Vancouver Canucks prospects are all playing great.

A goldmedal for Sweden is all thats missing now. USA however looks really strong. Gotta keep them from establishing that pressure that has given them their wins sofar.

I think Lakkerimaki takes a bit too many shots sometimes from impossible angles , sure he does score sometimes but he also wastes a lot of opportunities for the team by not redistributing the puck

edit: I am glad the Canucks have a great prospect to help keep them contenders… but he's not the MVP. he's the runner up. (tied for runner up)
IDK if the highlite reeel says anything that one goal he scored he shot right at the goalie but it trickled in.When your in the perfect position to score and have loads to shoot at both left and right side of the goalie but shoot right at him that tells me this guy is just shooting blindly and getting lucky.
The finals was an obvious pick by everyone no surprised but Canada was the next choice and had their chances but too many of their players were also shooting blind just throwing pucks at the goalie hoping they go in.
IDK if luck will be a factor in the final game but I don't think so I think the players that aim their shots will beat the goalies because imo the goalies are all bad yes even Fowler who gets too much praise playing on great teams in front of him.
Prediction well from day 1 it was a very tough call but I feel like the USA second line is just too strong to not produce better and I expect them to show up in the final game and win it for USA.
