  1. Maximum should have been 2 minutes for boarding. Not McMann’s fault the Ducks player turned. No intent to hurt.

  2. It can't be clean guys wth. This man going through half rink to push mintykov to the back. If he didn't push but only beat him it will be ok

  3. That wasn't even a penalty. He went in hard because he tried to turn away from being bumped. At least they didn't score, lost the fight and the game🤣

  4. Players need to learn specficslly this new generation how to take a hit. Lets use Ryan Lindgren for example, dude doesnt know how to take a hit. He keeps getting injured whilst players are asset majors and suspeions because he cant keep his head up. Samething with this play. McCann is a big boy he has the advantage therefore Mitchoynk should be aware of his presence on the ice and take cautiom when playing the game. Its ridiculous and needs to be removed from the game

  5. Another case of kids playing too long in "no hit" leagues where they don't learn how to avoid hits like this. Yes the other player needs to let up but what if they dont?!

  6. Weak call that was shoulder on shoulder. Defensive players fault for letting his guard down and turning away instead bracing himself to take a hit. You can’t tell me he didn’t see McMann coming at him when dumping the puck in.

This is the problem with these new/ younger players they think their exempted from getting hit and alot assume no one will follow through. They don’t know how to take a hit or protect themselves from one. They put themselves in vulnerable positions/ situations and this is why injuries on the rise.

  7. Gudas is a 😿 pretended to be sick because he knew the new Leafs are gonna be coming after him to make a name for themselves 🤣

  8. Labuskyn (apologies for butchering the name) is by no means a softie and Mcmann held his own, good for him.

  9. Both Hockey Canada and USA Hockey call this a penalty. "The onus is on the player delivering the check to avoid placing a vulnerable or defenseless opponent in danger." Almost any clean hit that sends a player uncontrollably into the boards will be a boarding call.

  10. How was that 5 for boarding? how is ANYONE supposed to play this game anymore when the rules make no sense and are not enforced properly. This was TERRIBLE officiating, how far from the boards does the guy need to be? Legal hit on a player who CHOSE not to defend himself, he knew the hit was coming (at least should have). Making yourself defenseless should now be a penalty.

  11. Господи, какие же придурки в Америке, писать о там какие нежные дети сейчас играют в НХЛ, вы серьезно? Парень вбрасывал шайбу и в этот момент его толкнули на борт…

  12. 2 for boarding. You do have to know how to take a hit, sure, but you also have to know how and when to lay one. Dangerous location, defending player did try to turn away, which wasn't ideal. I can see the argument for a 2 instead of 5 no problem. All thise people saying clean hit? Keep trolling lol

  13. Absolutely clean hit. If Keefe had any balls he’d tell the ref that he’d bring up this atrocious call to the referees committee. Unlucky for us Sheldon Keefe is a spineless overpaid moron
