Well deserved, he was targeted hard by USA and it showed that Swedens offense was very lackluster without Lekkerimaki doing his usual thing, instead they let Ostlund make flashy moves but ultimately not a lot of high danger chances from that line

Glad he finally had a good showing at the WJHC. This was definitely the year I was really expecting it from him. Hope he continues his great play back home

  3. Other Canucks prospects to have been named to the WJC All-Star Team: Petri Skriko, Pavel Bure, Mattias Ohlund, Luc Bourdon, Cody Hodgson, Olli Juolevi.

Very excited to see him develop and in the line up someday soon hopefully – but not too soon lol.

This kid’s gonna become one of my all-time favourite Canucks, I can feel it now

The strength of our Swedish players and prospects is going to make it more challenging to root against them when Canada inevitably meets them in the Gold Medal game in Milano-Cortina in 2026. Not impossible, but challenging for sure.

He was terrific all tournament. He was dangerous everytime he was on the ice.

  9. phantomgiratina

After a lacklustre past 2 world junior tournaments, there was a lot of pressure on him to perform in this tournament, he didn’t just perform but delivered, can’t wait until he joins Abby after his season his over

You guys see him and Cutter Gauthier talking during the handshake line? Wonder what that was all about.

Also, interesting fact, Cutter was born in Sweden when his Canadian dad was playing there.
