In case you were wondering what a knockoff WC jersey looks like…

I couldn’t afford a real WC jersey so I decided to take my chances on knockoff from DH Gate. I’ve ordered one knockoff in the past (Red Wings 2014 WC) and it looked pretty good. I think the pictures on this one pretty much speak for itself… Not good.

The logo is not felt and looks much too small and low on the jersey. Basically centered on my belly button. I’m not sure if the location on the front is due to the sizing, I ordered a 3xl. I’m 6’7″, 240lb and I try to err on the side of too large when ordering the Chinese stuff.

The fit isn’t terrible and the stitching is quality, but not quite as nice as what I’ve seen in review videos. One nice touch is the patch is fully stitched in place, including the letters. I just wish it were felt.

If the patch were larger, I think it would be passable to wear at a game or out to a bar to watch.

  1. That’s not bad, I ordered a Vince Dunn. I bet the numbers will look gnarly. I don’t have it yet

  2. I was actually just looking at DH Gate the other day for this very purpose. That logo size is gnarly. And the felt material was a selling point for me on the real jersey. Thanks for sharing the results!

I was wondering how it looked… That’s my one complaint with their knockoffs… Crests are all too small. It’s passable solo if people don’t look too long enough. The home a bit more than the away that I’ve seen. That’s at least better than how the reverse retro ones on their site look.

It’s not horrible, but agree that’s hard to pass alongside others out at a bar, or even solo.

That’s way better than the Seahawks ones, you can spot those from a mile away

hahaha oh man im sorry but that’s tragically hilarious

  6. are some of you really surprised when fakes look hella fake? you’re not fooling anyone with these.

Lots of DHgate jerseys can’t tell but this one … ya hahahaha

Yikes. Material selection alone would make me be willing to pay for the authentic.

  9. Not gonna lie, they at least look better than the fanatics one.

  10. That’s just atrocious, but everybody tries a knockoff once and then never buys one again after realizing how trash they are. Just chalk it up as a lesson learned.

  11. I’ve heard DH Gate is good for footy kits…didn’t know they also make hockey sweaters.

  12. I also got one on DHGate. Looks a little bit better, but the logo is also not felt, had the wrong color stitching, and the cream colored stripes are instead white.
Oh, and the Winter Classic patch was ROUGH.

Overall, I’m happy with it for $40. Not enough people around where I live watch hockey to recognize it as fake, and I just couldn’t justify the price tag.
