[Wheeler] … McGroarty on Hutson: “I keep saying it and I’ll always say it: Lane’s the man. He never backs down. It’s not about the size of the dog in the fight. It’s about the size of the fight in the dog. That’s Hutty. He’s always got it.”

As a Habs and Jets fan, this gives me much happiness
After a game like yesterday, this makes me so happy and hopeful
Can’t wait for this kid to prove everyone how good he is and how valuable he will be for the team
This is the most I’ve ever been able to watch Lane play and this absolutely rings true. Never takes a shift, hell a *second* off, even when the team is up.
I think he may struggle a bit to adjust the pro game, just because he does try to do a bit too much sometimes out there – but from what we’ve seen in the combines and camps, and on the ice his work ethic is fucking crazy. I think any struggles he may have he’ll overcome very quickly. Honestly not a lot different from Slaf in that sense.
He’s gonna fit in great with Gally and Caufield
Love it. At the very least he won’t be intimidated at thr next level. I don’t want those hands used for the wrong reasons though.
This is straight up some marc bergevin words
