Simon Nemac scored to kick off a three-goal third period and added a helper and Alexander Holtz also pitched in with a goal and an assist as the New Jersey Devils scrapped out a chippy win over the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2.
Golden Boy couldn't take a regular hit Looks like everyone saying he was to small was right And before anyone says anything it was a clean hit and ive seen way way worse guys got up just fine
Bedard got manhandled by Kreider the other night too but hes still young and has some size and strength he can gain. Just hope he doesn't get seriously hurt right away
Great game by the hawks really awesome to see them stand up for each other sodderblom looked really good again a lot of growth in this one great game guys to those who don’t know pretty much half the team started in ahl this season

Wow, I knew Chicago was a bad team but are they ever dirty and cowardly. Crosschecks and two guys against one (after the hit against Bedard that they don't show here) Foligno shouldn't be playing after he instigated two fights. I'll assume the crooked refs did a bad job. If you want to see the clean hit from Brendan Smith on Bedard as he thinks he can skate thru the centre of the ice check out HS Tower. I'm not a fan of either team but I'm glad to read NJ won. Sportsnet your highlights are lousy, get someone who's competent and a hockey fan to do them, they are boring, pussified crap this year.
I mentioned on their Facebook page that I wanted to see a good hit on Bedard and a win before the game started..This was like Christmas allover again!!! 😃😃😃

The nhl needs to ban hits on star players. Maybe give them a yellow helmet so players know not to hit them.
