  1. It would not be stressful if they would run the lines better

    Knies- Matthew's- Nylander
    Bert- JT – jarnkrock
    Robertson- domi – marner

Run those 3 lines and you add a wonderful triple threat

  2. Wow……kinda ok with a player getting a stick to the face????kinda ok with a hit that needed disciplinary action.?…Kinda surprised coming from this room……🤮🤮🤮.

  3. Drowning the duck you must be referring to the oilers. Cause the leafs got lucky to beat them. Oilers played them on a back to back as well and crushed them.

  4. Foe save percentages going down, It's definitely style changes and evolution.

Games used to be 40 and 50 shots per night, shoot from the outside. Hopefully, a good rebound comes out, and the streaking forward buries a good chance. Or one timers from the point that had little chance of going in but causes chaos in front of the net.

Nowadays, players are holding the puck and waiting for a seam to open up. Or instead of onetiming a shot, they will hold the puck half a second longer and shoot a much more accurate wrister.

Defenseman on the point will catch and release, or they will take a stride or two forward before wiring a shot.

The ball is now in the goalies court. They need to adapt to how the game is played. Or the fans' perception on what a good goalie save percentage will look like moving forward. Good may just be .900 nowadays and maybe that's OK.

  5. I like Nick, he's not always right, but he honestly speaks his mind. And that's good for perspective.

  6. I would just like to point out that MacKinnon has the 2nd highest average ice time of all forwards this year (2nd to Rantanen) and MacKinnon has the most 20 mph+ speed bursts by a long shot, 332 to Point's 236. It is possible to have a superstar play big minutes on a consistent basis, produce major points and drive play with speed. (But this is a Leaf's show so obviously that's sort of irrelevant)

  7. Substitute Perfetti with Matthew’s getting the cheap shot. Now where do you stand?

  8. Penalize the Coach and owners in the pocket book for these incidents and they may stop. They are endorsing the actions of the Weasel players by continually putting them out there to hurt people because they can and then the weasel turtles when approached for accountability. Hartman has developed a long track record for perfecting the accidentally on purpose garbage most of it is missed by Refs. Last year Jets lost Ehlers., Ingames Min v Wpg watch what happened to Morrissey multiple times. Cousins is a weasel too. Fix the calls on the ice. If it continues the league will end up with the audience it deserves- and Wrestlings fans will seem sophisticated by comparison.

  9. Kypper would also complain that keefe didnt play his best players if he gave them less ice time and lost. There's no winning here.

  10. KYPER you hit the nail on the head at 22:20. And do you know why Keefe keeps running the big dogs out there for 24 minutes a game? because he's not a good coach. He can't match lines to save his life and he gets out- coached every single Playoff round by the opposing coach. When hes losing a line matchup his solution is just run the big dogs out there until there's no gas left in the tank. That is why Keefe has to be removed as the coach of this club immediately. We need a coach that knows how to match lines match lines with the oppsition

  11. 1:07:50 ~ I disagree with his sentiment here. Lambasting players is a popular choice that lives in our past, and should remain there.

Taking your own frustration out on someone else from your own team is a sign that you don’t have the emotional tolerance to persevere.
The simple math of it is that it doesn’t add anything good to your team’s abilities to push through adversity and succeed. But it does add plenty of additional frustration to those involved.
It’s time humans evolved past this school of thought. There’s better ways.
