  1. The sharks are garbage. This is what happens when you refuse to rebuild and keep putting it off. If he's going to bring in trade capital he has to go. He's been a complete bust as captain. Pavs was way better and never should have been let go

  2. I would trade him and Vlasic. Sharks need to rebuild quickly. I think you need to get a few picks for this year and next year.

  3. I would hope that Mike Grier follows some key principles when he makes this year's trades to improve Sharks. As a matter of rational consistency, it makes no sense to trade away any players who fit the competitive ideal you are projecting as the new team identity. Any player that has proven he belongs should be retained no matter the draft pick offered or unproven prospects offered in return, MG is not in the business of charity to other teams contending for the Stanley Cup. Couture has proven that he belongs, but like Brent Burns who also belonged very much, he may decide to move on in his last years and win a championship wherever possible. It is a sad tale but true in many leagues besides hockey where championships are so hard to win and rare in most players' lives given a 32 team league pool to start.

  4. We're still gonna be bleeding paying off the cancer that was EK65's contract. I've been rooting for Logan since he was on the 67's. I would hate to see Logan in any other jersey, but the respect we owe him for being the glue that has held us together for years would lead me to say ' It's entirely up to him'. If he wants to be a Shark for life, then we treat him like a GD king around here. If he wants to go city hopping to chase a Cup, then hey. Let him roll the dice . We owe him that choice.

  5. Why not if the deals right. The sharks are trash and this seasons already down the drain might as well get what you can If it's a good deal that will help rebuild the team
