I'm not concerned… I expect him to be average at best…
I think Joulevi is gonna have a slow start to the season because of his injury, I don't think he will perform at 100% but will still have a solid year in Utica and he will push for a spot next season, but I actually feel bad for the kid TBH,
honestly other than the sedins and a couple minor successes when have the canucks ever hit it big with a draft? bure? maybe but still no cup i hope you are right about this guy
Young players jumping into the NHL is not the normal. Sure we see it happen lots but in comparison to the amount that dont make the jump right away it's not close. It's not a high percentage of prospects that have success right away. Yes hes a first round pick but that really doesn't matter when you see how many 2nd 3rd round picks that make an impact years after they are drafted. Some first round picks take a bit of time. Yes, some turn in to pouliot and guddies but some prove the impatient fans wrong years later, positive or negative. What I'm saying is we dont know yet. Nothing has happened for us to write him off yet. Look at the history of the NHL. Thanks clay!

I'm still a big believer in OJ. I don't think he's a true top pairing guy anymore but he can still be a very good #3 guy. Let's hope he can stay healthy this year and we get to see him as a call up.
