  1. They cant say the truth-"tough to win when your goaltending just doesnt give you a chance vs a very good team." Better get a frikin save though-Boston/Vegas wont be any easier. Plenty of times this year the skaters have let down the goalies. And you just cant take the penalties they took in the 3rd. But goaltending let down the team today-& thats happened far too often-while theyve almost never bailed out the team this year-at least not since the 1st 5 or 6 games. Its not remotely all on the goalies,(theyve often been somewhat soft,& mistake prone deffensively-& 2C has been a GAPING hole)-but overall the goaltending hasnt been good enough this yr.

I still believe it can turn around-they are in good-not great shape recordwise. And Giorgiev was a top 5 goalie last regular season. We dont need that great but sub .900 save % just isnt good enough for any team to make a deep run. You have to at least get league average goaltending to have any shot,& so far we havent. There are positives-they still have as much top end talent as anybody, they never quit,& are never out of a game,(though neither is the opponent no matter how big of lead we have)Drouin…& its still reasonably early-42 games left. We know Giorgiev has it in him-Prospotov is another matter. But to have any chance goaltending & 2C just HAVE to improve. No matter where you finish in the regular season standings-this isnt sustainable for playoff success.
