I’m used to being bad now, but when they first started falling off I thought it wouldn’t be long until they were back at the top. I got so used to the winning culture of 2013-2018, I thought that was ingrained in the franchise.

I’ve seen it. While I generally agree with the sentiments in the video I think some of the presumptions and analysis are more opinion than fact.
Chief among them is the belief that this team was going to be seriously competitive, or that they need to right the ship in that direction. If you look at the team as just needing to take a step forward, they’ve done that. I think that hot streak at the beginning of the season was unsustainable and got a lot of people’s hopes up.
And while they should be winning more games than they are, they are still analytically WAY better than they were last year, and literally have had no less than 2 key players injured the entire season to this point.
Lastly, nothing happening now is going to be corrected, there is no urgency in management to do anything drastic, nor should there be. Inarguably they’re better than they were last year, they aren’t going to win a cup, so why take anything less than what you want to ship pieces out? Hold firm to get what you want back in any return and if we finish in the bottom again we get another high draft pick. Lacking patience and trying to force team building is how Bob Murray got us into this mess in the first place.
