  1. Lesson: At this level, you can't always stick handle between 4 players without getting popped. Clean hit. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

  2. Just another reason for proper facial protection… hey NHL post this one for your obsession on the kid.

How the new helmets and neck guards coming btw??? Safety still waiting.

  3. Not even a big hit just an average step up check. Dudes little, he’s not mcdavid or Matthew’s he needs to learn quick he can’t play with his head down.

  4. Fighting is justified as punishment for dirty hits … now you are expected to fight after each and every hit, clean or not

  5. See that flying knife in the air when he flipped around. That could’ve been another bad incident. 👎🏽

  6. Not sure how the league doesn't look at this a little closer.. could be considered clean but it's a real shame for Bedard and the All Star game

  7. He just think that he can do anything. No, he can't and this is the way to stop him. Clean and no dirty hit.

  8. It's amazing that this never happened to Patrick Kane or Datsyuk in their careers. Keep your head up Connor. Get well soon.

  9. This is the result of playing to much no touch hockey in Canada. Don't lead with your face. It doesn't matter how well you can stick handle and ice dance in the NHL you will be smoked. Hope he gets better soon.

  10. He put his shoulder directly into Bedard's jaw and then raised his is forearm to finish the play. I believe the league has a rule against blows to the head.

  11. 1: kudos to everyone not babying bedard.
2: do we all remember Crosby loosing two teeth and still scoring in the same game in his first years and then being called crybaby Crosby. And this is a “big hit”? Not even a penguins fan just saying, holy.

  12. When I heard about this I thought it was a dirty hit but now watching this there's clearly nothing dirty about it.
