Our non-scoring beast along the boards puck possession monster is coming back baby!

This is crazy, I wasn’t expecting him back until at least the all star break…

I’m calling it now. He’s gonna be a beast for the second half of the season.

  4. Looks like one goal in insert month jokes are back on the menu boys

That’s great news! I was nervous it was a long-term injury.

I hope he pours it on when he returns – we need him and he needs to deliver. Yes we know he retains the puck well and is a solid defensive forward, but we need him to put points on the board. I’m not giving up on him, but after last season (and scoring on day 1 this year), I really felt he’d be even better. As it stands, he needs to deliver or he might be gone.

I feel like we definitely need someone as responsible as him back in the lineup. We’ve had some real unsavory play in our zone of late as well.

Shocked he’s healed so fast. I know he hasn’t been on the scoresheet much, but his defensive/possession skills have been sorely missed. We’ve definitely looked worse since he’s been out.

    Rangers with Kakko: 15-3-1.
    Rangers without Kakko: 11-7-1

With Kakko and without Chytil: 7-2

We need our boy back in the lineup. We miss him more than many think.

Plus the sooner he’s back the sooner Drury knows what he needs at the trade deadline.

Put him in wheelers spot. Mika and kreider sucked 5v5 until after he got hurt. Made him look worse than he was

  11. we’ve got three weeks and then the All-Star Break. If KK takes until then to get back into game shape and then returns in February for the final 30 games, I’d consider it a win.
