Too much money for nylander
LR99 #1 ICE HOX KNEW$ 2024 RACE 2 SHO 4 ALAS GO CANUCKS GO !
Back up those brink trucks vancouver
Blah blah blah blah
Petterson better pick up his game if he wants that amount ..If not I'd trade him and take the boatload of players back for a better amount .
lol neither of them arew wortth that much. I would take Nylander over petterson.
if nylandrs gettin 11.5, pete gets 12+
I can't fault Toronto for wanting to retain him but this is an interesting experiment into cap management. Can the Leafs find cheap yet solid depth or decent defensemen?
the leafs will have to say bye bye to bertuzzi, brodie, domi and bring in cheap help. and they have 1.7 million committed to 2 goaltenders. those 2 will come apart by the end of the season or in the playoffs. but they have 4 of the best top 6 in the league. whoopee! EP40 will be looking for at least 12. my guess is 3 years then he and quinn will sign with NJD when their 2 deals expire and win themselves a cup.
3x$10 then trade
It's not about winning the cup anymore.
they could've had him for 10 three months ago, this clown franchise never learns lol
the canucks are a joke, petey gonna leave for nothing, go play for a real club 😂
Don't forget Nylander is averaging out the bargain price $6.9 million given the past few years. So, he fully deserves $11.5 mil for being loyal and being a bargain for so long. That is the same as Mckinnon for giving Avalanche a bargain price of around $6.5 mil a year. Now he is getting $13 mil or something. Petterson has gotten good money for $7.78 mil, his agent shouldn't open their mouths and take the team to the bank. Let's face it, he was good but was being paid well already. Canucks won't get a hometown discount from Petterson but not exceeding Nylander as every greedy agent wants for his client so he can get a maximum commission!
Trade pettersson and get someone in the mood of Miller around 8 mil. And use the extra money to build a deeper roster. Pettersson is too expensive, can’t fill out the roster with that kind of contract. Just look at Vegas when they win the cup.
Bad cap management for the leafs they should’ve tried to solidify the holes in their lineup instead of investing their cap into 4 players like they’ve been doing if it don’t work then change it.
Hopefully Petey gets 10.5 x 8 praying
$54 million locked up in 4 players😂😂😂😂great job Toronto
Petterson will sign 3 or 4 x 10 at which time, we'll win with his prime and trade him for Bedard maybe a couple years into his contract.
