Damn Nylander has a punchable face. Is he trying to look like Matthews with that stache?

  2. CheesecakeOdd2087

Ken Reid asking Elliotte Friedman “why don’t the Leafs ever get the hometown discount?” in the middle of the SN circle jerk about the resigning of Nylander was almost as satisfying as the win over the Rangers.

  3. This was one of the most entertaining games of the season, and to me arguably the biggest win so far.

Treliving should Trade Tavares back to Islanders.

May he fuck this Leafs team like he fucked Calgary over with Pooperdough 😈

Would you say it is NOT time for our viewers to crack open each others heads open… And NOT feast on the goo inside?

  6. Megamedium

The jets and Canucks are 1st and 2nd in the league right now. But the Canucks don’t have to live in Winnipeg so who’s really on top?

“*I don’t wanna play for the Blackhawks. I’m a Canuck now.*” ~ Bedard pulling a Cutter Gauthier, probably

Remember like 1-2 years ago when Canucks fans were hyping miller to the rangers and those fans were adamantly opposed to the idea of a player like him. Thank god us fans don’t run teams

  9. I’m not calling my doctor if this funny feeling lasts more than 4 hours!

So we gotta go all-in at the deadline and take a big swing, right? There’s zero guarantee we’re gonna cobble together a team this good after we get bonked by the Petey/Hronek extensions and all our UFA’s leaving

Everything but our very top prospects should be on the table tbh. We need them for cheap depth in the following years

Tomlinson after the Petey goal: “The nicest goal you’ll see tonight!”

    Hoglander: “Hold my beer”

You notice how Petey spends a lot of time on the inside edges of his skates with his knees bending inward? He gets a lot of manoeuvrability out of that…starting, stopping, dekeing, turning. Anyway tonight he did the same thing with his stick and the puck on his goal …stick was laid down close to the ice with the blade bent over the puck and he was able to manoeuvre the puck around the defenseman and then the sprawling goalie like the puck was glued to his stick. It was a thing of beauty, and reminded me of how he skates. I can’t think of anyone else who spends so much time on their inside skate edges as him. Can anyone else?

Yet there’s still people out there saying Peteys new contract should be less than 10m.

  14. Damn. I need someone to help me not flutter off into unrealistic expectations cause that was sick

Canucks shut down the middle of the ice. I bet Demko wants Trochecks 2nd goal back. All lines are going. What we truly need is a number two center if the lotto line stays together. If the boys can stay healthy we can make some noise in the playoffs.

+50 goal difference reached in game #40. Insane.

  17. electricnux

Hughes played only 21 minutes, this is huge for a b2b situation.

the D pairs are extremely well balanced with everyone playing between 19 and 21 minutes

  18. Where’s that one dude that said we wouldn’t get more than two points this road trip?

  19. hoglander’s filthy goal should be called “ the Jovanoski” passes to himself through his 5 hole and then score through shesterkin’s 5 hole

  20. BountyHuntard

2010-11 Canucks finished with 261 goals for, 2023-24 Canucks are on pace to finish at just over 300.

  21. Overall-Bottle6213

Good to see us win one cleanly in a game where the refs put the whistles away like they do in the playoffs

  22. RainDancingChief

Two Canadian teams lead the league right now.

    Wild stuff.

EDM and CGY still well in the WC race as well and the Leafs looking like they’ll make it as well if they keep going at the rate.

Crazy that it’ll probably come down to the wire but potentially having 5 Canadian teams in the playoffs feels like a dream compared to the last few years anyway. Sucks they’ll mostly be from the West and end up playing eachother but still cool to see.

  23. N4ZZY2020

Wow. What a huge win tonight. Honestly I didn’t think they could win against jersey and the rangers. I had my doubts on whether they could do it. But after 3 games. Not a bad start to this 7 game road trip. 2-1 so far. Are they playing tmr?

  24. I just came across the video of Joshua and Garland scrapping in training camp. A lot of people saw that as a good sign where players are practicing hard and really caring. Last time we’ve seen teammates scrapping was during the 2010’s team.

What a vibe on this this team.

  25. thundercat1996

That was an amazing game, full of excitement

  26. Time_Monk_52

It feels weird that this team is chasing a president’s trophy as opposed to a wild card spot at this point in the season.
