Getting paid like he's top 3 in the league when his maybe top 50. Yes, he's on a hot streak before his contract signing as so many do. He'll revert back to ol' 70% effort Willy now it's signed.

Paying for a garage full of ferrarris when they've got chihuahuas for a security system. Classic Leafs. Maybe spring for a goalie or some defense one of these days, eh? Overpaying for a top 50 forward and capping out your salary ain't going to win you a cup.
