The Athletic: Which NHL goalies are giving up the most — and fewest — rebounds per save?

4. Devon Levi (Buffalo)

The Sabres haven’t made life easy on their goalies either, allowing the seventh-most high-danger chances per 60, and that’s at least partially led to Devon Levi giving up the fourth-most rebounds per save (0.069).

Rebound control is one of the best indicators of a goalie’s comfort level, and in his first full season as a professional, it’s not surprising Levi hasn’t been in complete control.

  1. I would be curious about his before and after AHL stint numbers. Early in the season every save he made looked difficult and he was fighting his movement a lot. Since returning the team he looks much more in control of his game.

Interestingly, your comment source has him listed as #4, but it is rendering as

    Edit: Old reddit rendering issue!
