[Wyshynski] Tomorrow night, the Flyers are holding their 1st Pride Night since Ivan Provorov’s boycott of warmups in 2023. Team staff will wear Pride shirts/pins. Flyers Charities’ online auction will feature “a number of autographed jerseys along with other Pride-themed items.”

Fuck Provorov. Glad they’re giving the new kid #9 to get the stink ass off it.
I feel like this tweet I trying to make this seem like it’s something extra extra special tomorrow when it’s still the same pride night they’ve been doing for years.
My point is. Why mention provorov. Why word it like that saying “1st since…”. It happened last year and the flyers took nothing away from the event this year aside from the league being stupid about warm ups. Other teams took things away or even canceled the event last year. The flyers went ahead 100% as planed.
He could have just said. “Tomorrow is pride night. The flyers are doing 1,2,3….” but he didn’t.
They are simply doing it for the first time since they decided not to. Referencing Provorov is silly and immature. It’s a big world take a deep breath and come to grips with people having a difference of opinion.
So that’s why Cutter left.
I will fight anyone for that Torts or Brad Shaw pin if they wear one and auction it.
