I have the feeling this was more than “just a practice” thing. Wheels has been fine against lesser opponents, but last night I think made painfully clear the limits of what he can do against the league’s best.
Kakko is back soon, so hopefully that’ll be the end of Wheels in the top 6. For the next couple of games though, why not play Cools.
Weird that while Kreider and Zib struggle to produce together 5v5 they don’t get split. I understand defensively they also do well, but they’re half of your top 6, you need scoring, not just shutting down other teams.
Edit: grammar
Cuylle should’ve been on that line the whole third period last night tbh. Most visible player game in, game out
I have been loving Cuylle, but this isn’t the problem. We need bottom 6 scoring!!!!
The BFF line needs to be broken up
